The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I had 4 fantastic years at Penn State. I'm still a rabid Nittany Lion fan, and I go back up to Beaver Stadium when I can. Last Fall, I spotted Sean Lee at a formal function we were both attending in downtown Pittsburgh. You've never seen a girl jump that high in 3 inch heels! He was even more sweet and personable than I would have hoped. The picture he graciously agreed to is on display at my work desk, and draws many questions and comments. I'm thrilled to tell people about that night. With the Lions playing great football again and the Steelers back on top, it's just like the old days when I was roaming University Park, wearing my "Gentleman Prefer Hibbs" T shirt. I've been divorced for 5 years, and have 2 beautiful daughters, Chrissie, 16 and Lauren, 14. Chrissie is a swimmer, and Lauren plays softball and volleyball. We have a beagle named Charlie. The three of them keep me very busy. I work at Hillman Cancer Center as a Certified Oncology Nurse. I love my job, and find that Oncology is not just sadness and dying. I work with fantastic, compassionate doctors and nurses, and I've met some wonderful people, who have been devastated by a cancer diagnosis. I wear a pin to work each day that says, "No, Oncology Nursing is not depressing." I've lost touch with most of my old PSU buddies, and am hoping we may reconnect through this book. Go Lions!
